Premium Protection. Built to Perform.

Firefighting, emergency response, rescue, tactical, industrial, automotive, and related operations are inherently dangerous. Serious injury, illness, property damage, or death may occur even when protective equipment is correctly selected and used.

No Product Eliminates Every Hazard

FireTac Safety products are intended to help reduce exposure to certain hazards when used correctly and for their stated purpose. No glove, garment, tool, or item of personal protective equipment can eliminate every risk or guarantee protection against all heat, flame, cuts, punctures, impact, chemicals, liquids, contamination, or environmental conditions.

Product performance depends on factors including correct selection, fit, condition, maintenance, training, exposure level, duration, and the use of compatible protective equipment.

Certifications and Standards

A product must not be assumed to comply with an NFPA, ANSI, EN, ASTM, OSHA, CE, UKCA, or other standard unless that specific certification or compliance statement is expressly shown on the product label, packaging, product page, or accompanying documentation.

Certification for one product model does not automatically apply to another model, version, size, or product category.

Certification does not guarantee that injury will not occur.

User and Employer Responsibilities

Before using a product, the purchaser, employer, supervisor, and user are responsible for:

FireTac Safety does not replace the judgment of a qualified safety professional, incident commander, department, employer, trainer, or authority having jurisdiction.

Fit and Sizing

Protective products must fit correctly. A product that is too loose, too tight, incorrectly adjusted, or incompatible with other PPE may reduce mobility, dexterity, coverage, comfort, or protection.

Customers must follow the applicable sizing guide and verify proper fit before operational use.

Inspection Before and After Use

Inspect every product before and after each use. Immediately remove it from service if there is evidence of:

Do not continue using questionable equipment simply because the damage appears minor.

Cleaning, Storage, and Modification

Follow the cleaning, drying, maintenance, and storage instructions supplied with the product.

Unless expressly permitted:

Improper cleaning, storage, repair, or modification may reduce protection and invalidate warranty coverage.

Contamination

Equipment exposed to hazardous chemicals, biological material, fuel, oil, asbestos, or other dangerous substances may require professional decontamination or permanent removal from service.

Do not return contaminated products to FireTac Safety unless written authorization and handling instructions have been provided.

Product Lifespan

Protective equipment has a limited useful life. Lifespan depends on age, frequency of use, exposure, cleaning, storage, damage, contamination, and the manufacturer’s retirement criteria.

A product may need to be retired even when there is no obvious visible damage. Warranty duration must not be treated as the expected service life of a product.
