FireTac Safety warrants to the original purchaser that eligible FireTac-branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the original purchase date, subject to the terms below.
What This Warranty Covers
If an eligible product has a verified manufacturing or material defect during the warranty period, FireTac Safety may, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace it with the same or a reasonably equivalent product
- Provide store credit
- Refund the original product purchase price
Replacement products may vary slightly due to product improvements or availability.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic changes that do not affect function
- Incorrect sizing or fit
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper storage
- Cuts, punctures, abrasion, burns, or impact occurring during use
- Chemical, oil, fuel, biological, or hazardous-material contamination
- Improper cleaning, drying, or maintenance
- Unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification
- Damage caused by using the product outside its intended purpose
- Failure to follow instructions, warnings, or inspection requirements
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
- Products with removed or altered labels, serial numbers, or markings
- Clearance, final-sale, or used products unless required by law
- Incidental or consequential losses
Protective equipment naturally degrades through use, heat, contamination, cleaning, aging, and environmental exposure. Such degradation is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.
Warranty Claim Requirements
To request warranty service, contact us and provide:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Purchase date
- Product name and size
- Clear photographs of the issue
- A detailed description of the defect
- Proof of purchase from FireTac Safety or an authorized seller
Do not send a product back until you receive return instructions or authorization from us.
Inspection of Claims
We may require the product to be returned for inspection. Approval is not guaranteed merely because a claim or returned product has been received.
Products that are wet, contaminated, biologically hazardous, chemically exposed, or unsafe to handle must not be shipped unless FireTac Safety gives written instructions.
Shipping Costs
FireTac Safety may provide a prepaid return label for an approved claim involving a confirmed manufacturing defect. If the issue is not covered, the customer may be responsible for inspection, return, and replacement shipping costs.
Replacement Warranty
A repaired or replacement product remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for 90 days after replacement, whichever is longer, where permitted by law.
Important Safety Notice
A warranty does not guarantee that protective equipment will prevent injury or death. Users must inspect equipment before and after every use and immediately remove damaged, contaminated, excessively worn, or questionable equipment from service.
Only rely on a certification or performance standard when it is expressly identified on the product label, packaging, product page, or accompanying documentation.
Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights under state, federal, provincial, or national consumer laws. Nothing in this warranty limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
